A Home with History

This home already held a meaningful mix of family history--furniture inherited from a grandmother, pieces passed down through the family, and newer finds gathered over time. Each element had significance, but the rooms had not yet found a shared rhythm.

Because every area of an open-concept home is seen in relation to the next, we approached the living, dinging, and lounge spaces as one continuous composition. A neutral, texture-rich rug connected the rooms, while updated upholstery and accents allowed the deeper wood tones and inherited pieces to remain at the heart of the design.

The result is a home that feels more connected, comfortable, and reflective of the life already being lived there.
